Riddu Riđđu just announced their first artist for the 2017 line-up.
Rockheim, Riddu Riđđu and Márkomeannu invite the public to a fun-filled evening featuring some of Sápmi’s strongest voices. The event is being organised in cooperation with Tråante 2017, the 100th anniversary of the Sámi’s first National Congress in Trondheim.
At the Riddu Riđđu festival, youth can join up in a great program to get access to workshops, activities and a lot of new friends. All youth 13 year or older are welcome to sign up. But hurry; there is a limit of 65 participants!

Last time they played the Riddu-stage they were young and promising, now they return as established artists.
The festival is outdoors. Bring clothes for all kinds of weather! You have to sleep at tentcamps, bring your own tent!
Marja Helena Fjellheim Mortensson is the young artist of the year. She has just completed upper high school specialising in music and has already received Hedmark county’s cultural award.
