This is a practical class, where the main focus is practicing different yoiks. As part of the class you will be served campfire coffee, and get to know some Sámi words and stories.
No prior knowledge is required - the workshop is suitable for everyone. As part of the class you will get to know yoik better, and learn different types of yoik, including person, animal and landscape yoiks. Perhaps you yourself will be inspired to make a yoik?
The workshop instructor is teacher and yoiker Berit Alette Mienna.
This is a two-day class, running Thursday July 11th and Friday July 12th, both days from 11AM to 3PM.

NB! If you find a two day class to be a bit long, there will also be a "drop in"-class on Saturday July 13th from 11AM to 2PM.
