Join us for a session on the history and meaning of Chukchi wrestling. Hosted by Mark Zdor, a Chukchi student and aspiring ethnographer.  

In this workshop you will learn about the origins of the Chukchi wrestling form and how it is used today to help preserve the identity of the Chukchi people.  

Zdor will use both videos and photographs to provide a glimpse into life in Chukotka then provide a real-life wrestling demonstration.
