Riddu siida

In this class, you will learn how to weave traditional Sea Sámi komagbånd (shoe bands). You’ll be guided through the full process: warping the threads, threading the heddle, weaving the band itself, and finishing it so it's ready for use. A lot of valuable knowledge packed into a short time! You’re free to choose between classic men’s or women’s bands – the only difference is in the color combinations. 

The instructor: Asle Tveitnes.
