Welcome to a deep dive into what lies behind this year's festival exhibition I'm a Sámi Boy by Kai Mikkel Balto. The exhibition aims to comment on macho culture and gender roles in Sápmi. What drives Balto to raise topics such as gender, identity and power in Sápmi?

Mentor Anna-Stina Svakko talks about creating security in rainbow-Sápmi, before she meets artist Kai Mikkel Balto, and designer and tradition bearer, Ánde Somby, for an artist talk.

How much can a garment affect the energy in a room? What does the clothes we wear say about who we are? The conversation brings together three pioneers who all have a great commitment to artistic expression, and who constantly challenge Sámi clothing habits and norms.
