Reclaiming indigenous queer identity

Seminar

This thought-provoking panel explores the intersections of queerness, Indigeneity, and cultural reclamation. The discussion brings together a powerful group of voices, who through their art and activism constantly seek to expand spaces for queer Indigenous people all over the world.

The panelists provide a critical lens on identity, belonging and resistance from the frontlines of queer visibility. Their perspectives are deeply rooted in their activism, and they all embody decolonial expressions through storytelling, drag, dance and performance art.

Together, these voices delve into what it means to reclaim queer Indigenous identity today - challenging narratives and celebrating the resilience that has passed down through generations.
