Want to learn Skolt Sámi quadrille? 

Not only is Suõmmkar performing a concert — they’re also hosting a dance workshop! 

Suõmmkar combines traditional Skolt Sámi music with modern sounds, creating an exciting soundscape and danceable rhythms. Fronted by vocalists Anna Lumikivi and Hanna-Maaria Kiprianoff, the group offers a contemporary take on traditional Skolt Sámi music, accompanied by a talented ensemble of musicians. Their debut album Suõmmkar was released in 2018, and their second album Peäccam da Paččjokk is set to be released in 2025. So we have a lot to look forward to! 

This year, they’re inviting the audience to join them on the dance floor to experience none other than Skolt Sámi quadrille! The workshop will be followed by a concert at 16:15. 

We love it — and the audience is in for a real treat with both dance and music to enjoy!
