Drop-in: Lávostallan

Workshop

What is the traditional way to use a lávvu?

The lávvu both has and has had a central position in Sámi culture and life, and there are a lot of unwritten expectations, practical, spiritual and cultural, as to what constitutes “proper” lávvu use.

In our lávostallan course you will learn what it means that the boaššu is sacred, where it is polite to sit when you are a guest, and you will gain insight into many other aspects of traditional lávvu use.

The course is held by Beaska Niillas and Sara Marielle Gaup Beaska.

No pre-registration required.
