In 2019, UiT and The Centre for Sami Studies will for the second time honor with an award the best master thesis written on a topic related to Indigenous peoples. The award will be given to the candidate who wrote the best master thesis in 2018/2019 with an indigenous focus. The award includes a 10 000 NOK scholarship.
