Do you want to meet other Sámi youth? Do you want to learn more about the climate issue from a Sámi perspective? Do you want to come to Riddu Riđđu?

Riddu Nuorat is a programme for youth in the ages 15-25. The programme lasts from Wednesday 13.7 to Saturday 17.7. You get to go to concerts, participate in workshops and hang out with the other participants.

Participants sleep at Olmmáivággi school, which is very close to the festival area. You don’t need to bring a mattress/sheets/towels, we will fix that. But please bring warm clothes, rain clothes and gákti, if you have one. The festival is outdoors and it gets very cold in the evenings. The programme will be in Sámi, Norwegian and English.

Participation costs 500 NOK and covers festival tickets, accommodation and food.

This years Riddu Nuorat is a collaboration with the Sámi youth organisations SuomaSámiNuorat, Sáminuorra and NSR-N.
