Art exhibition: Binnáš vel!

Art

“Binnáš vel!” is Northern Sámi and means just a little bit more. How often haven’t we heard this when the government or private corporations want to build on Indigenous land? They want “just a little bit” for wind turbines. A little bit for mines. For cabins, fish farms, power lines, tourism, factory trawlers. Just a little bit. But what is left of our lands and waters? And what happens to the people?

Binnáš vel! is an exhibition with artists from Sápmi and Greenland. The exhibition is curated by Gry Spein. The project is a partnership between Riddu Riđđu, Davvi álbmogiid guovddáš and Nordic Culture Fund.

The exhibition will be opened on Wednesday July 13th at 18.00. The exhibition is open til September 2nd.
