Stilla – A performance
What landscape is irreplaceable to you? Could you break the law to defend it?
Stilla - A Performance is a music and conversation-based performance about ecological grief, anger, and the loss of place; about civil disobedience and sense of belonging. It is about standing still and listening as the river freezes over, about naivety, and about walking a path your feet already know. It explores human rights and giant power lines, wind turbines and pike fish cakes, mine tailings and fishing in the fjords.
The performance invites a conversation among the three actors, as well as with specially invited guests. Where are the environmental struggles in our own part of the world today? What would be irreplaceable to us? What cause would even you chain yourself to in protest?
