LGBTQIA2s+-Sámis are a minority in the minority, and many experience double discrimination. Queer Sámis have become more visible through Sápmi Pride, in the Sámi public and through the organization Garmeres. Yet there are LGBTIQ people who feel they have to hide their identity. What can the Sámi community do to ensure that queer Sámis experience safe spaces?
