Straight out of the mean streets of Harstad come RSP & Thomax, two of Northern Norway's true hip-hop veterans. 

RSP made their debut back in 2001 as part of Kompani 69, but it was under the name RSP & Thomax and with the EP Nordaførr from 2010 that things really took off. 

Since then, they have played on increasingly larger stages all around the country, sampled both Halvdan Sivertsen and Erik Bye, and released a handful of well-received EPs in addition to their first full-length album Ti runda rundt sola. Last year’s release Fasefeil, which includes collaborations with Joddski, Oter, and OnklP, has also received praise from critics all over the country. 

RSP and Thomax deliver melodic and catchy hip-hop, and we’re looking forward to hearing the certified Northern Norwegian hip-hop classics like Brøytebil, Fossefall, and XO Classic on the Riddu stage this sommer. 

In their own press release, they claim that what they do best is deliver good vibes in all shapes and forms to Northern Norwegians whereever they may be, and we have no reason to doubt that. All in all, we are sure this will be a rare experience at Riddu-sletta!
