We are repeating last year’s success with another queer pre-party at Riddu Riđđu this year! Join us to warm up for the evening's program with other queer folks and allies. 

Ritni Pieski, also known by his drag persona Ritni Tears, and Canada’s most infamous two-spirit trans artist, Quanah Style, will host the pre-party.

Ritni Pieski is a Deanu river sámi storyteller, drag artist, choreographer, dancer, and performer. His work revolves around themes of decoloniality, radical dreaming, queering, and humor. Pieski’s recent projects include Indigenous Drag Excellence XXL and Girjái – a decolonial queer utopia. He graduated from the University of the Arts Theatre Academy in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in dance and works as a freelance artist.

Quanah Style, hailing from the cree nation is a powerhouse musician, TV star and actress in the recent feature film “Broken Angel”. Ms. Style has blazed a train from coast to coast, from Vancouver to Toronto & LA. She has garnered massive attention and there are few dance floors who haven't felt her presence. From her outfits and makeup, to her music and show stopping performances, Quanah has proven she is a force to be reckoned with as a groundbreaking artist.
