We can finally share that Kajsa Balto will be playing on Riddu Riđđu’s main stage in 2025! 

Kajsa Balto is known for her intense and captivating performances and her concerts are an unforgettable experience for anyone in attendance. This makes us extra excited to see her on the main stage this summer! 

Balto uniquely combines old traditions with modern soundscapes. The music has its roots in joik, but transcends genre boundaries and moves seamlessly and intuitively between indie, pop, rock and world. In an impressive way, she has created a bridge between the past and the present. Through her music, she tells stories about family and generational trauma in a heartfelt and powerful way. 

She has garnered praise both home and abroad, and have distinguished herself in recent years with her distinctive vocal expression. Lately, she has also collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the Arctic Philharmonic and the Broadcasting Orchestra, and has toured in Norway and internationally.
