In recent years, Kajsa Balto has distinguished herself with her unique vocal expression and strong communication skills. Her previous release "Buot eallá" garnered praise from critics, and was described as "one of 2020's most magical moments in Norwegian music" by NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Cooperation). Her new album «Sámi juovllat» is a beautiful and long-awaited contribution to the diversity of Christmas music. Sámi juovllat means Sámi Christmas in Northern Sámi, and consists of traditional Christmas hymns and Christmas songs translated into Northern Sámi, in addition to brand new self-written material.
