Riddu Riđđu: Open Call
Riddu Riđđu invites Sámi artists to apply for support for artistic projects.
Riddu Riđđu festival invites Indigenous filmmakers to send films for consideration for our film programme. Both fiction and documentaries can be sent, but cannot be longer than 30 min. Riddu Riđđu is looking for films where Indigenous Peoples tell their own stories, where Indigenous Peoples are involved in the making of the film and which include Indigenous languages. The film must have English subtitles (films without subtitles can be submitted, but must have subtitles before screening at the festival). Riddu Riđđu will pay a screening fee for the films selected for the film programme.
What to include in your application:
- A brief project description, maximum1 A4 pages, presenting the artists involved
- Budget/overview of expenses
- Pictures or sketches, maximum 10 pictures
- Link to video (if applicable). Remember to also include a password to the video
- Send your application to b[email protected] with Riddu open call in the subject line
