Riddu Riđđu 2020 cancelled

Dear Riddu Riđđu friends,

Riddu Riđđu 2020 is cancelled. Today the Norwegian government decided that the ban on gatherings with over 500 people will be continued till September 1st.

We are of course sad that we can’t meet and celebrate Indigenous art, music and culture. Sápmi will have a summer without festivals as our place to meet and connect.

The planning of Riddu Riđđu festival 2021, our 30th anniversary, goes on and we hope to see all of you there.

Until we all can meet again we will continue to promote Sámi and Indigenous art and culture, just in other ways than through the festival.

Those who have already bought tickets for Riddu Riđđu 2020 will be contacted and can get their ticket refunded or move it to 2021.
