Resirkulert plays Riddu Riđđu one last time

The award-winning group with roots in Storfjord have made a name for themselves for their sweaty dance parties with rocket high energy levels. After 10 years as audience favourites, the pop rock band Resirkulert embarks on its farewell tour in 2023. Riddu Riđđu's audience can look forward to an explosive showdown in Olmmáivággi in next July.

The first concert under the name Resirkulert was in their native municipality of Storfjord, and since then they have played concerts at large and small festivals in Norway. The band can boast several TV appearances on NRK and listings of several songs on NRK Radio.

The line-up has varied over the years, but two members have remained in the group since the beginning: vocalist Emil and guitarist Johan. When they now embark on their last tour, everyone who has ever been part of the band will gather at selected concerts.

Emil Karlsen was named Young Artist of the Year by Riddu Riđđu Festivála in 2019 and was subsequently allowed to participate in Riddu Sessions, the festival's own program for young Sámi artists. He is known for creating magic with his heartfelt delivery and impressive musicality, and can expect a warm welcome from the Riddu audience.

Festival director Sajje Solbakk is proud to announce Resirkulert to Riddu Riđđu:

- Resirkulert is a big favorite with our audience, and we are so happy that Lávdi will be a stop on their farewell tour. We expect a lovely concoction of dance and melancholy – with guest performances and a show that Olmmáivággi will never forget!

Already confirmed to play Riddu Riđđu Festivála next year are artists Katarina Barruk and Manne, Herman Rundberg's grand solo project. The festival has a program for the whole family and takes place in Kåfjord municipality, Nord-Troms every year. The date of the next festival is 12-16. July 2023. Tickets on sale now at www.riddu.no.
