Rent a lavvu!
Do you think camping is a little bit of a hassle? Travelling with tents, sleeping bags and sleeping pads? Terrified by the complicated procedure of setting up the tent and then packing it down again on sunday? And not least the potential sore backs from lying on a thin sleeping pad? Relax; This year we have the solution!
Riddu Riđđu Festivála experiences a large demand from the public every year for ready-made accommodation for our festival attendees. During the festival all indoor accommodation is packed up with artists and performers. This year we have started a cooperation with the Alta company Halde, which sells and leases lavvo`s in Finnmark and Troms county. The company is a permanent supplier of lavvo`s to the SMAK Food Festival in Tromsø and Finnmarksløpet Siida. This year they wish to be your host and can offer accommodation during this year's festival at pleasant prices.
The lavvu or gamme will be ready for you at your arrival – and you do not need to pack down, Halde will fix that for you! You can choose what degree of comfort you want; you can order sleeping pads, reindeer skin, bed, table, benches/chairs and a wood stove if you want. All lavvo`s have flooring!
"We will do our best to ensure that you have a pleasant festival, we`ll make sure you will be looking forward to sleep after a long festival day," says Geir-Harald Volden in Halde.
The accommodation will be at our family camp, which is within walking distance of the festival area. At the camp there is water and toilets, and not least - silence to sleep up after an exciting day at the festival.
Lavvu can also be booked on request during the festival.

- Lavvo 8-10; 8-10 persons, pr day 900,-, whole festival 3600,-
- Lavvo 15-20: max 15-20 persons, pr day 1500,-, whole festival 5900,-
- Venor Gamme Luxus: 2 persons on soft matresses, duvets, bed lines of sateng, furnace, floor, chairs, etc. per day 6000,-, whole festival 24000,-

- Addition for comfort bed: 75,-/ pr.day
- Addition for reindeer skin: 50,-/ pr.day
