How to get to Riddu Riđđu?
The festival takes place in Manndalen in Kåfjord municipality, Northern Norway. 150 km from Tromsø and 250 km from Alta. We encourage everyone to use public transport!

Accommodation
We recommend one of our three camps; festival camp, family camp or youth camp. Bring lavvo / tent and sleeping bag. Space at the camp is included in the festival ticket.
The festival camp has a lower age limit of 18 years.
The family camp is recommended for families and others who want peace and quiet.
Youth camp for young people between 15 and 18 years.

Bracelets
Only those with a festival bracelet can access the festival area. This applies to all days, except on Wednesday afternoon. The bracelet is personal, and is obtained by purchase of daily tickets or festival tickets.

- From Tromsø (Prostneset)- weekdays at. 15pm. Arrival Løkvoll 17.40pm
- From Tromsø-Friday at 17.55pm. Arrival Løkvoll 20.10pm
- From Tromsø- Saturday 11am. Arrival Løkvoll 13.30pm (Prepaid tickets are highly recommended)
- From Alta - weekdays at. 10.45am. Arrival Løkvoll 15.35pm

Environment
The festival is certified as eco friendly. Please care for the environment and keep the area around you clean. Follow our advice for garbage disposal. Avoid using disposable barbecues.

Food and beverages
There are several venues for food and drink at the festival area. Ber and wine is served within a estricted area at the festival on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Opening hours for the food venues at the festival area will be announced in the spending program. Drink vouchers can be purchad at the Gate and in the festival area. We prefer that you pay with credit card when purchaseing vouches. Alcohol in the beer area can only be purchased with vouchers.
At Løkvoll (about 2 km from the festival area), there are two supermarkets. Opening hours are 09:00 am-20:00pm (18pm Saturday).

Payment
We prefer that you use credit cards for all payments at the festival. The market is the only place you can pay whit cash. It will be possible to withdraw cash at the ticket gate.
Parking
Parking at Løkvoll approx. 2 km from the festival area. From Thursday to Sunday a bus will drive forth and back to the festival aera. Parking at Løkvoll is free. We encourage and recommend everybody to use public transportation.Parking at the festival area is not allowed.
Security
Your safety is important to us. We have a large number of security guards during the festival.They are easy to spot since they are dressed with yellow vests. Red Cross will have a medical tent at the festival area and the police will be present. Animals are not allowed at the festival area, campsites or at the parking area
Volunteering
Work as a volunteer during the festival for minimum 16 hours and receive free admission to the festival. For more info:

There are water taps at the festival camp and festival area. It is advisable to NOT drink the water in the river!
