Riddu Riđđu Festivála wants to be inclusive and accessible to everyone!
We aim to make it easier for more people to participate in cultural events and thereby help improve quality of life—regardless of physical limitations.

Companion Certificates:
We accept companion certificates. Please present the certificate at the ticket booth when you arrive at the festival.

Volunteers:
If you have a disability, you can still help us organize the festival! Let our volunteer coordinator know about your needs, and we will adapt your volunteer duties in the best way possible.

Accessible Parking:
We have reserved parking spaces for people with mobility impairments near the festival entrance. Please inform us in advance if you need parking by emailing [email protected].

Food and Allergies:
At our food service areas, you will find menus with information about ingredients and potential allergens.

Accessibility on the Festival Grounds:
Since most of the festival takes place outdoors, there may be some challenges with accessibility. There is a separate entrance path to the festival area, but much of the program takes place on a grassy field, which may be uneven. Weather conditions can also affect accessibility.

Main Stage:
Unfortunately, we currently do not have a dedicated ramp for wheelchair users. The area in front of the stage can get crowded, so we encourage people with mobility challenges to stay toward the sides for a better concert experience. Arrive early to secure a good spot. If you have difficulty standing for long periods, we recommend bringing a portable seat.

Children’s Festival:
We want all children to be able to take part in our children’s festival! To help us provide the best possible experience, please let us know in advance if your child needs any specific accommodations. Send an email to [email protected].

Lillescenen (Small Stage):
The area around Lillescenen is somewhat uneven. Wheelchair users are advised to bring a companion.

Library:
Step-free access and good maneuverability inside. Accessible toilet available.

Culture Hall:
Easy access. Good mobility inside the venue. Accessible toilet nearby. A hearing loop system can be arranged upon request in advance. Email [email protected].

Riddu Siida:
The Siida area is uneven, and wheelchair users are advised to bring a companion. The houses in this area are generally not wheelchair-accessible.

Nisga’a House:
Accessible via a ramp at the entrance on the right-hand side. Maneuverability inside is somewhat limited. Accessible toilet available.

Baldaávvu:
Difficult access for wheelchair users. No accessible toilet.

Háše Duohken Bar:
Challenging access for wheelchair users due to a hill. To buy drinks, you must first purchase drink tokens at a nearby stand. Wheelchair users are recommended to bring a companion.

Center for Northern Peoples:
Good accessibility for wheelchair users. Accessible toilet. Elevator to the basement where seminars and art exhibitions are held.

Camp 18+ / Family Camp:
Difficult access for wheelchair users due to grassy and uneven terrain. Unfortunately, there are no accessible toilets in this area.

Ticket Booth:
Easy access. The counter height for payment is relatively high.

Food Service:
Accessible via ramp from ordering to payment.

Kiosk:
Easy access. The counter height for payment is relatively high.

Accessible Toilets:
There are designated accessible toilets on-site.

WATER
Drinking water from the river is discouraged as it may be contaminated! We have several water stations around the festival grounds—bring your own bottle to fill with clean, fresh water—completely free!
