One of Norway’s biggest rap artists, Marstein, will be performing on our main stage in 2026! 

In recent years, Marstein has established himself as one of Norway’s most innovative and creative rap artists, with both commercial successes and legendary rap tracks under his belt. In late October, he released his debut album “FRIHET I LENKER” (Freedom in Chains), which dominated Spotify’s Top 50 in both Norway and Denmark—something that had never happened before. 

In 2022, he made his breakthrough as a solo artist with the mixtape Medici Marstein, which quickly climbed to the top of the Norwegian charts with hits like “Frida Kahlo” and “La Boheme.” Just two months after the album release, Marstein dropped the EP Xania, showcasing a diverse sound and unique lyrics. Last summer, he took Norway by storm with the hit single “Sommerhus”, which is approaching 16 million streams. Before going solo, Marstein achieved major success with the rap group UNDERGRUNN. 

With his ability to blend different genres and styles, he has solidified his place in the Norwegian music scene, and you definitely won’t want to miss Marstein at Lávdi this July!
