Kajsa Balto is bringing her Christmas concert to Manndalen!
In recent years, Balto has established herself as a central voice in both the Sámi and Norwegian music scenes. She has distinguished herself as a powerful communicator with her soulful vocal expression and message. Her songs, vocals, and delivery have earned her glowing reviews both at home and abroad.
We have been fortunate to experience Balto on Riddu Riđđu’s main stage several times, and these are always powerful and heartfelt concert experiences that deeply move the audience.
Now she’s coming to Manndalen with songs from her Christmas album “Sámi juovllat”, which has received outstanding reviews. On the first Sunday of Advent in 2024, she made history as the first Sámi artist to hold a Christmas concert at the Norwegian Opera House together with KORK (the Norwegian Radio Orchestra). It was a warm, powerful, and moving concert that sold out the main stage and was both recorded and broadcast by NRK.
