Volunteer areas

Riddu Riđđu is Eco-Lighthouse certified by Norwegian standards. Working on recycling as a volunteer involves providing our audience members and guests with sufficient information and facilities, in accordance with relevant guidelines.

Helping us making sure the festival area is kept clean is important for the wellbeing of our attendees, and for maintaining our Eco-Lighthouse certification. You will work across the festival grounds, which also means that you get to experience large parts of the festival when you are on duty!

We sell a variety of food items in our kiosk and cafè. Our menu changes every year and is carefully curated based on available, local resources. It is an advantage if you have experience with using a cash register, but you will be given training if necessary. The role will suit positive, organised and service-minded people.

Your job will be to welcome and register people who have signed up for the festival (press, guests, etc.). In the ticket booth you will expedite those who are buying tickets or exchanging tickets for festival wristbands. For this role, we need service-minded individuals who are good with computer systems and people.

Food service:

Your tasks will include preparing and serving food to people at the festival. We will provide you with relevant training. This tends to be a busy station! Therefore, we are looking for service-minded people who enjoy working at a fast pace.
