Riddu Márkanat

Art

Sámis have had markets for centuries, and in many ways this is probably the forerunner of today's festivals. Stop by Riddu Márkanat and shop for the latest in Sámi duodji and design, as well as reindeer meat of the highest quality. The market is open Thursday to Saturday from 12:00 to 24:00. There is a free entrance to the market between 12.00 and 18.00.

This year’s vendors are:
Silvia Rehnlund: gáktisilver and jewelry inspired by the sea and coastal culture
Reinkjøtt Marked: reindeer meat and duodji
Abanti: Sámi design
Marit Ravna Sara: Sámi woollen shawls
Ž Design of Sápmi: interior items with Sámi words and expressions
LilleLi Smykker: Sámi-inspired silver jewelry
Freya’s Nature: natural soaps and shampoos
Johan Mikkel Logje: reindeer meat
